About this site

This site exists because the answers already online were hard to trust: calculators using last year's rates, pages that mixed the salaried and non-salaried tables, and results with no source named. Here, every figure is generated from a single calculation engine whose rates come from the FBR withholding rate card, every page names its source and check date, and the methodology page shows the formulas.

The site is independent and is not affiliated with the FBR or any government body. It costs nothing to use, asks for no account or personal information, and runs entirely in your browser. It is maintained by one person, with corrections handled as described on the methodology page.
